Rave Radio is streaming live throughout the day. A schedule will be released soon.
"Rave-Radio's aim is to promote "community" - something that recently we felt Ravensbourne was missing.
We will include quality programming that is made for and by the community, and to include the whole spectrum of the skills we have in the college, in both students and staff. We want every course to have their involvement in the station.
The station will be as much a tool to facilitate information sharing and communication amongst our community as it will an output for our community's work.
We hope to increase the cross course opportunities for both working and socialising together, there will be chances given to students to show work from both inside and outside of their Ravensbourne, as well as self-promote their own music, discuss outside events they have been to or hope to attend, reviews of venues, books, music, etc."
So JOIN US, we will be looking to get as many people involved as possible. We will be needing roles from presenters to graphics designers to reviewers thru to scriptwriters. So if you think you have something you can provide us or some content/news the rest of the uni would be interested in let us know.
For more information on getting involved and working with us on the radio station please feel free to come see us on our stall at Freshers Fair '09 in the SU bar or email one of the guys: r.newman@rave.ac.uk or r.martin@rave.ac.uk"
