A showcase emphasising the capabilities and boundaries of High Definition Filming. A topic so varied so vibrant and so loved by society; what better way to showcase a leading technology than with leading sportsmen and women doing what they love best. It’s an amalgamation of visual treats that will leave you glued to your seat and wanting more.

Our concept grew from the idea of filming white water kayaking; we were intrigued by the efforts involved when people throw themselves into a sport they are passionate about. We were drawn to this challenging lifestyle and the adrenaline that’s achieved when testing your abilities against the elements. ‘Motivated’ has evolved into a diverse selection of sports ranging from ones as well known as rugby and tennis to the more unheard of pastimes like free-climbing and Thai boxing. Our aim throughout has been to emphasize the sport and subject by embellishing them in Mother Natures great landscapes and Mans’sporting sanctuaries. We tried to use as many unusual locations as possible, pushing High Definition and the audiences excitement to it’s extreme outer limits.

This reflects of the dedication and passion certain people have for their favourite sports and how much sport means to them. The Documentary also shows the dedication and passion we all needed to keep up with these sporting stars. It was a challenge to Produce and direct two separate programmes simultaneously with only minimal crew but everyone loves a good challenge, as do we. Here we look behind the scenes at what goes into making as a film with as much Production Value as we could pack in to 15 minutes. An epic shot calls for epic rigs so we’ve let the audience have a sneaky peak inside our minds and how we got on during our filming.
